Ok folks, here is the description of the AEK Coat of Arms. Scroll up to see the larger version on the website. The Eagle: The American Eagle is the symbol of fidelity and honor. It is the foundation of our brotherhood. The spread wings depict strength and protection, but also a gesture of "welcome". The wings hold in the brotherhood and protects the members. The open mouth says, "we will not go silently into the night"! The Shield: On the shield you will see ancient symbols of the original four horsemen of the apocalypse from the book of revelations representing death, plague, famine and war. The origin of AEK began with four individuals, "the original four horsemen" or "founding fathers" as you may have heard them referred to. Over the years some horsemen have moved on and others stepped up. But the original four men who started the clan will always be considered the founding fathers. So the shield that protects the eagle displays and honors those four individuals where it all began. The AEK Ribbon: The first image you have of Alpha Episilon Kappa is printed on the white "purity" ribbon, turned slightly grey through years of wear and tear, held in the eagle's talons. The eagle grasping the ribbon shows its pride and fortitude to hold onto the ribbon. The AEK Greek Letters: Alpha is the first letter of the Greet alphabet. It means the "leader, or the beginning". The Greek letters for our clan were preset because we wanted to keep AEK as our Standard. However beginning our greek letters with ALPHA is again the basis for "The Beginning". The Brotherhood Banner: Held proudly over the eagles head is the word "Brotherhood". This represents that above all else AEK represents the brother and sister bond. That despite our differences, dispite our beliefs, our politics, despite all others we recognize the brotherhood of AEK. When you put all the images together it gives us a symbol for the clan that honors the past, depicts strength, honor and loyalty and provides for expansion and growth. These are the things that define the AEK brotherhood. I hope this helps everyone to understand where AEK was and the evolution of AEK in the future.

The following is the history of ApocalypsExtremeKilling

It all started with Call of Duty. Stonecold told me to buy the game. He said I would enjoy it. I bought the game and enjoy it I did! Along with Stonecold, AssistedSuicide, KnightsCross, LockDown, RumbleGuts and Biohazard (just to name a few), I joined our brother Clan, MGX. Night after night, for countless hours we played, laughing and talking over Skype. It was fun and before long I was hooked and have been hooked ever since. Soon I became impatient and wanted to take my gaming experience to a new level. When Call of Duty United Offensive was released, I rented a server which, low and behold, came with its own website! Stone and I would think up names for the website and a clan, brainstorming on our way to and from work. Soon enough, ApocalypsExtremeKilling was born and clan’s tag }AEK{ was conceived. Armed with a name for our clan, our tags and a website to be designed, it was time to get noticed. So, Assisted got busy, creating the website and taking care of the server. We spent our early }AEK{ days killing and chilling, owning and pwning, living up to our belief that }AEK{ was badass and the best clan out there. And we lived up to our reputation, emptying foreign servers like there was no tomorrow. Soon they would empty just by our presence. Eventually we were no longer welcome on many of those servers. We were frequently kicked and banned from playing on many of them, accused of cheating, hacking, you name it, we copped it. The clan continued to grow and several members of MGX joined us. RumbleGuts, SavageNation, Wolverine, HeartlessTrigger, Dutchy, Decker and many more. Although some of the names now escape me, I will never forget the good times and the laughs I had with them. Don’t get me wrong, the creating and maintaining of a growing clan has not always been easy. As the clan grew, some members left, whether it be by choice, by request or by their personal circumstances. Some of our members left and came back (Stone, Lock, Knights, Heartless, Rumbles just to name a few) and like we did when we left MGX, some left to start their own clan. From its birth until the present day }AEK{ has resulted in the creation of four new clans. We maintain good relationships with members of most of those new clans. Over the last five years we have gone from one server to five and back to four. We have played all types of games but none bring the enjoyment that United Offensive gave us and still gives us. Over the last few years, we have changed a lot. We have a new website designer, a true friend and brother GreenGoblin. In January 2009 we made a few changes to the foundations of the clan. We now go by Alpha Epsilon Kappa and have a Coat of Arms. The Coat of Arms was designed by one of the greatest members and friends of }AEK{ our own LeadMagnet. We also now have a few lady members Gunmuppet, Pingu, Gunghoe that are a welcome addition. We now have one of the best core of }AEK{ that I feel we have ever had. I guess after all is said and done }AEK{ has made its mark in the Call of Duty gaming world and at one point we were rated 5th in the world. I often think back to the early days of }AEK{. Those long nights laughing and getting drunk while playing Call of Duty and United Offensive were awesome. Then I look to the present and think wow }AEK{ really has come a long way. It has stood the test of time and the strength of the brotherhood has prevailed. This confirms my original belief that }AEK{ would be a badass, kickass clan and the very best clan out there. I am very proud of what }AEK{ has become and am equally excited about what }AEK{ will become. I want to thank each and every one of you for all the time and effort you have put in to make }AEK{ the best clan and for being the best group of brothers and sisters one could ever hope for.
